My favorite party this weekend. I didn’t think I’d have the energy to dance… it was slow when I showed up at 7, but picked up quickly and boy did we DAAAANCE. Met a lot of incredible, passionate, and kind people :)

Xanadu Roller Arts

I looove partying at Xanadu. Super big space, powerful air conditioning, beautiful smooth clean floors, and the loudest speakers I’ve ever heard. Free water, nice roofed smoking area, and additional bathrooms in the back!

Got super packed in green room, that crowd talks a lot :/ but when it got too crowded, it was nice to visit the outside stage and hear the other sets! Very sad Lady Monix couldn’t make it </3 didn’t stay to hear Mike Servito, too tired after SanDia

Green Room

This is a great venue with consistently great DJs, but they NEED to rearrange the bar and DJ booth to give more space. There’s a terrible choke point near both doors for no reason. Really beautiful decor tho

A great time, rain did not stop us from dancing! Left early cuz no Kai Alce :( Dancers were goin crazy on the patio, as we do!

333 Stagg St

New renovations feel safer than before, I miss the outdoor speakers and fairy lights. Indoor space has nice ceiling lights and air conditioning, but I wish it was brighter in there. Minus one star for no free water

Indoor room got super packed, I was dancing in the halls! Good mixed crowd, but it didn’t feel right to be in that dark room while it was so beautiful outside. They moved the atrium speakers inside, sounded soooo good in there. Absolutely lost in the subwoofer. Opening set was really good, idk his name

Public Records

Nice beautiful indoor/outdoor space. Love the atrium but the floor gets sticky. Free water! <3

FUN PARTY in a super-DIY space. Might be the coolest looking venue I know, neon lights and painted signs. Lighting and sound in there is beautiful. Geology’s set was very funk, only played a handful of deep/house tracks. Venue got so… so hot and humid. Like, dangerous, health liability hot. Should def provide free water next time

Mixing was great (all vinyl) but leaned more funk and sisco for my tastes. Still an incredible set!! Had me dancing despite the heat

Excellent event Tori!!! Around 24 participants, which was perfect space-wise. Cyphers had great energy and some visitors out of town! Music was absolutely bangin, flow state ACHIEVED. Great exposure therapy for my fear of cyphers. Also I won :) + Norry and Felipe

Arts On Site NYC

Beautiful smooth wooden floors and sunlight, but both water fountains were broken and it’s ok the 3rd floor with no elevator

Beautiful event (as always) with an incredible line up of 7 dance acts showcasing various styles. 3 bangin DJs kept the crowd moving from start to finish
