A House Called Zanzibar is coming home to Newark, New Jersey for a three-day activation during the Newark Arts Festival 2026. We’re bringing art, conversation and music under one groove! Join us this October 7th-9th as we gather in Newark to honor what was built, acknowledge what was lost, and imagine what becomes possible when that legacy is given room to live again. Great music, great sound, floor is good for dancing!! Not over crowded! People came to dance! Crowd way better than some of these stand around crowds in NYC that yappity yap yap on the dancefloor... need more of these events!
